I’m at an event celebrating the build-out of a cooperatively owned fiber optic broadband network here in central Virginia. One of the speakers is Rep. Bob Good, who voted against every bill that funded the work done here. But he’s taking the credit just the same.

@ingrid I’m a big fan of electrical co-ops expanding into broadband. You get the benefits of a co-up, with the stability and experience of an established electrical co-op. For years they were reluctant to get into the business, but now that they are, they’re doing it in a big way.
