Energy from fossil sources cannot easily be replaced for various reasons, even if the management of hydrocarbons were 100% state-owned and with zero profits for private individuals.
Instead, everyone can adopt and promote a #vegan / #plant-based diet that has a huge impact on emissions, pollution and desertification. And it saves billions of animals every year from a life of torture.
