I don't really know how to feel about #AoIR2023 in Philadelphia doing very little on the fate of Palestinians in Gaza who are put under increasingly inhumane conditions... especially when the theme of this year is "revolutions" 😶
So far I've heard no speakers or statements, just coffee break chats (but perhaps I missed it).
Meanwhile Susan Abulhawa, whose Mornings in Jenin touched me at a very early age, was injured today while protesting at Philadelphia city hall.
