@ingrid @waldoj that's really the only part I have a problem with here. Seems entirely appropriate to presume that a very significant chunk of readers have no idea what a mailing list is in 2026.

@ingrid @waldoj I suspect Courier New is the font referenced here, which would not be exactly wrong as it seems it was originally used on the IBM Selectric. But as far back as I can remember, users could define the font in the email client. I was partial to Lucida Console
