For the first day of spookytober I went to Green-Wood Cemetery, where I went to take a look at this extremely prolific crabapple tree and discovered that someone had been devoured and perhaps pooped out here.

(Can anyone identify what creature met its fate here under the crabapple tree?)

@ranjit obviously it is the remains of a fish who valiantly tried to advance the evolution of its species but tragically expired before it could bring news of crabapple hyper-abundance to its sea-bound compatriots
