Just saw Jeanne Dielman on a big screen for the first time and I have to say it hits different

@quaad I think it’s so important to that movie to be forced to pay attention and let it take up a lot of space. Like if you’re not THERE with the domestic monotony it doesn’t mean as much

@tripofmice I agree completely. I went in wondering if I would make it to the end, but halfway through you couldn’t have pulled me from my seat

@tripofmice also being so immersed in the rhythm of the monotony, when the pattern starts to break down it’s devastating.
