been having my dwarfs dump water onto the stone floor below to make a farm area but it's taking forever due to evaporation
drawbridge! It's my second autumn and I haven't had any trouble but i'll feel better when the walls are airtight

6 of my dwarves got their guts messed up last night. in retrospect I don't have nearly enough armor or weapons to outfit 60 militia members. Maybe I should reform a few squads to match what I do have
