As a person who writes stuff for the media every now and then, I have a couple of dozen things like this. One has to choose one's battles. And people don't like to read about hypothetical scenarios much, especially ones involving something as boring as banks.
@ingrid@fka_tabs the right question not the accusative: "why didn't you write about it" but "how can we rebuild the media ecosystem so that next time you can write about stuff like that".
