@ingrid I don't have a dog but I go to watch the neighborhood dog run as often as possible. They always seem so joyful.
@ingrid My favorite part is when a dog is coming toward the dog run and the closer it gets the more excited it becomes.
Once I saw a woman walking near my apartment with a large dog, a Golden or some such, and the dog wanted to turn the corner toward the dog run. The woman told it, no, we're going straight home, and the dog kept pleading its case, and the woman said "Oh, all right" and they made the turn.
