Hi strange network of friends & colleagues.

It turns out I’m transgender. I’m still working out what that means for me. I am keeping my name and I’m asking you to use she/her pronouns for me.

This will likely be an adjustment! I will not be insulted or hurt if you slip up! In this, I’m following Eddie (Suzy) Izzard who said, “I prefer she/her, don’t mind he/him, and I’m going to be relaxed about it.”

Things are great at home. I have access to good medical care and a supportive workplace.
