the murderbot books as audiobooks is my current self soothe listen and I think part of it is a lot of the book is just someone being really competent at their job and then some of it is an utterly relatable existential crisis
@ingrid yeah, I consider Murderbot competence porn. It's not just Murderbot itself, many of the supporting characters are competent and collaborate effectively
@gray17 they really do! They get into jams but they figure it out, competently

Gotta say though seeing stuff about the TV show they definitely picked the wrong Skarsgård brother, give us creepy Bill as SecUnit
