Maybe the economy hasn't been "good" ever since the late 1980s when the top 1%'s share of income bypassed the bottom 50%'s? Feel like these guys telling me the economy is good actually aren't looking at the data
@ingrid the precarity will continue until the economy improves.
It feels like we've been living in the great depression since 2008 but this time they aren't even pretending that the rich are suffering with the rest of us.
@ingrid As always, "the economy" can be replaced with "rich people's feelings" in far far too many sentences.

The data they’re looking at is the stock market. That’s “the economy” to the 1%.
