British Columbians: seeking recs for Victoria and Vancouver pls thx
@jmaxsfu unfortunately I have scheduled obligations in August but fortunately a grant is paying for it
@ingrid In that case I'll bypass the usual museum/gallery/tourist recos, and suggest you just visit beaches. In Vancouver, Sunset Beach (downtown), Spanish Banks (near UBC), Second and Third beaches (Stanley Park). In Victoria: Gordon Head, Willows, etc.

@ingrid Come in the off season when accommodations cost less than half as much.
