@meetar @sgillies I think you’re right because every climate scheme seems to agree that there’s a slight twist to the latitudinal gradient of climate over the Eastern US: http://www.cec.org/north-american-environmental-atlas/climate-zones-of-north-america/
@meetar @sgillies Yeah but long-term averages tho. Cf. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/new-simulations-question-gulf-stream-role-tempering-europes-winters/ (which I think slightly overstates the case – I gather this is still pretty debated).
