@vruba makes me think we should make our own DYI lidar scanners. 3cm precision it’s enough for stitching multiple scans together and do a later optimization path for perfect firing in post. There is also better sensors on the market that can give us better range and precision that I was getting. For RGB color per point maybe we can use some correspondence with 360 cameras? The entire color lidar could be under 1.5k witch is like 10x cheaper that regular lidars
