I just heard a clattering noise outside and looked out in time to see a sparrow in our heat pump being rescued to feathers and chunks. 🥺 Why would anybody make a heat pump that a bird can fit in?!

@waldoj aaaaaaa fuck. can you fit a mesh screen on it? they're all looking for nesting nooks right now. i have two that keep trying to nest under my air conditioner (which seems less immediately fatal but also kind of bad)
