In school I learned speculators and market manipulators amplified boom-bust cycles until we got the Great Depression when my grandma couldn't toss a scrap of aluminum foil. Then FDR created rules to stabilize money.

Later New Deal roll backs created a jacked investor class and now we swim in pump n dumps and Ponzis and stock values are basically fake.
