Today I wound up on a shoulder-to-shoulder crowded bus that due to a Problem took an hour and a half to travel 3.5km (a little over two miles). It would have been substantially faster to walk but I wasn't wearing the right shoes to walk in slushy snow and also I didn't know. Anyway now terrified because this is probably the most COVID-dangerous thing I've done in two years, just sitting in this metal can breathing the same air as all these people. I was masked but at least 70% of the bus wasn't

@oddletters The entire 2 subway line shut down from st george (basically spadina) to woodbine and they were actually sending enough shuttle buses to absorb every train disgorging at st george but it did not occur to me until I got on the shuttle bus what happens to bloor when you try to shove that many shuttle buses onto it
