pol feels

feels pretty dumb to be working on my silly little research into supply chains and climate change stuff when states are trying to legislate people I care about out of existence!!

academia shitpost

a provost implies the existence of a convost

@Wolven that being said: doing a PhD is maybe a slightly different genre of horseshit

can't tell if my continued annoyance and feet-dragging on this grant proposal reflects how much I don't actually want to do a PhD or just how much I hate writing grant proposals

Kitty is on six weeks of rest for a disc injury and while it's a far better doctor's orders than the alternative of needing major spinal surgery, it's a reminder that she's getting old and we don't get infinity years with her. I love her so much and I just want to give her the best life I can for as long as I can.

bought a bunch of vintage graph paper for some drawings I want to make guess you could say they'll be in.....grids 😎

@kissane also if it's remotely helpful Jesse (the author of that Nation story) is a friend and would be happy to connect y'all for further discussion? he has stayed in organizing but ended up in actual electoral stuff, works for Tiffany Caban now

@kissane I don't remember how much Nathan Schneider acknowledged that in his book but I will endorse it solely because I made the maps
