Online reviews of this aftershave: Pleasant, middle-of-the-road, not too strong.
My review of this aftershave: The smoke alarm is going off, the cat is hissing at the ceiling, the windows are permanently etched, the new milk in the fridge curdled, I’m crying out my ears, I’m getting a call from the county bomb squad,
@vruba Not great then?
@aegir It’s fine, and most of the skin will grow back by the next time I need to shave anyway.
@vruba Here’s to a speedy and unfragranced recovery!
@vruba
🤣🤣🤣 Maybe you just need to try it for a few days?
@vruba I've noticed that handsoap we buy regularly now is VERY strongly scented and I suspected Covid Yankee Candle syndrome; people with lost/lessened sense of smell complaining have led to changes in formulation.
@vruba relatable
@vruba ^—Me, with any product not clearly labeled “unscented, hypoallergenic” and some that are.
@falxcerebri I’ve just been drinking a glug of the aftershave every day to build up a resistance. I can’t live in fear of things that happen to smell like the odor equivalent of the THX sound. It seems to help to wait until just before I want to nap anyway, because I usually get pretty dizzy.
@vruba
You should check Target, they have Masculine Nostalgia Brand Facial Reclaimer. It comes in a couple scents: Cedar & Carburetors is okay, but Bourbon-Soaked Shag Rug & Lemon Loam is my favorite. And the added dehydrating silica gel and brown shoe polish give me that rugged seventies-style surfing alcoholic complexion that really complements my sexual frustration.
(Still chuckling over "Body Thrashing")
@vruba Weird. My observation is that my wife gets different skin creams for each eye brow / hour of the day, while I get exactly one that‘s good for face, hands, body and the bike chain.
@vruba exit wound *exfoliator*
@vruba I hate all perfumes.
