RIP Michel Callon, pouring out some scallops 4 u today

Oops! All Infrastructure

@williampietri I was just scrolling on Bandcamp! Turns out we have a mutual friend and they showed someone in the band the photo, said it had their vibe, and the band loved it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lnnWgprN0A forgot that this little video essay I made in 2023 for an online lecture series at a Mexico City artists space was pretty good

Also the album rips, which is nice

(the photo in question, which escaped containment at some point and sometimes people will be surprised to learn that I was the originator of it

https://thearmed.bandcamp.com/album/the-future-is-here-and-everything-needs-to-be-destroyed in 2016 I posted a photo I took of an electronics shredder company's trade show booth and the photo went viral bc of the company's incredible slogan and today I learned an extremely good punk band used it as the title for their new album, who says posting never leads to anything good

pivot to wario

https://placing.technology/expanding-on-the-zirp-geo-hypothesis-with-data-probably-part-1 I made some charts to try and see if data backs up my hot take that open source geospatial tech was a zero interest rate phenomenon

Oh my gosh then a block later I ran into ANOTHER neighborhood dog friend, message received universe maybe life is worth living cool

I was in a bad mood and then I saw a neighborhood dog and we said hi and now I'm about to cry because of how happy I was about seeing the dog

@a I mean the line between comedy and horror has always been fine, cringe comedy takes it closest to that threshold

@kdawson ha, thank you!

Ramsey really wanted to watch the Tim Robinson movie Friendship and I keep having to hide under the pillow because the cringe is so much
