@tripofmice that little quadruped looks demonic
@tripofmice wow!
Je Tu Il Elle - continuing Chantal Akerman at MOMA. I first saw this decades ago. I was surprised how little detail I remembered while at the same time it was lodged in my subconscious (the idea of sitting alone in a bare room, eating sugar from a paper bag and scribbling notes on sheets of loose leaf paper) For some reason my clearest memory of it was false. In my mind was a scene that wasn’t in the film but could’ve been. And it was in color
@tripofmice also being so immersed in the rhythm of the monotony, when the pattern starts to break down it’s devastating.
@tripofmice I agree completely. I went in wondering if I would make it to the end, but halfway through you couldn’t have pulled me from my seat
film/culture criticism
I feel like watch a surreal double feature, the events of yesterday and Jeanne Dielman
@ingrid this was a good one.

@ranjit what’s a dubai labubu? Or labubu dubai, which is even more fun to say. (Autocorrect turned labubu into panini, which is interesting?)
@tripofmice I’m beginning to think my dilapidated apartment is held up entirely by successive layers of paint applied over decades and decades. This is how it should be.
@1moremin hoarding tentacles is a much better reading of that post, edit accepted!
