Not sure if it's just me being very self conscious about it but I feel like singing is a more embarrassing hobby than just playing an instrument as a hobby, like my downstairs neighbor playing cello is fine but if I'm learning to sing a song for fun I'm like "ugh no one likes a show off"

Sitting in on final crits at RISD because I'm an external committee member for a student here and it's just so cool to see students making their extremely specific weird beautiful projects!! This is what we live for
